I visited the Ohio State campus November 1, 2015, with Ruth Ann (her first visit) and two of my three brothers an their wives (Jim and Claudia, Ted and Beth), my first time on campus in more that 25 years; besides walking around the Oval, went to two areas just off the Oval: (1) Wexner Center & Mershon Auditorium at the NE corner and (2) Mirror Lake at the SW corner. At the end of the afternoon, we stopped at Ohio Stadium (much expanded from my years on campus). Larger trees blocking views of some buildings along the Oval were among the noticeable changes. Page Hall, E of Hagerty Hall & N of Ohio Union (parking decks between Union & Page); in MA program, 1964-65, I had office, with four other economics graduate students (Ray McKay, Phil Bryson, Jim Osborn, & Tom Lacey) at NW corner of 3rd floor. In a major renovation completed in 2004, the building's roof was removed & interior gutted to remake Page Hall to be home of John Glenn College of Public Affairs, which has evolved from multi-disciplinary public administration program that was new in 1969 when I was working on PhD, and in which I took an outside (minor) field; glass front & entrance doors below ground level beside stairs were added in renovation.
